acne ?

Post a new topicby livingwith on Tue Jan 29, 2008 5:16 am

I have never had bad acne but now I am 26 and I can’t seem to get rid of this small patch of acne on my cheek. I don’t get it anywhere else; just 2 or 3 under the skin bumps at a time in one spot in the hollow of my cheek. And only on the right side of my face. I am starting to see some scarring, and I am really concerned about it. I just wondered if anyone had any ideas about why it won’t go away. I just want my clear complexion back! If you know how I can do that, please let...Read the full article

I also suffer from acne..but i really beleive its a combo of food allergy, not enough water, genes, not keeping my hands off my face. I am trying to battle the internal things now even though I went to school for skin (Esthetics) and they told us it was genes. Something that you might want to consider though is your phone. It sounds crazy but I have had a lot of clients have this problem because of cell phones. Do you notice what side you usually use your phone on? you should try to keep your pillowcases clean regulary, hair free of styling products while sleeping. but also have a bottle of alcohol or sanitary wipes handy to clean your phones whenever possible. I read a study once that said your cell phone has more bacteria than a public toilet seat! gross huh? anyway...try not to mess with that area of your face because it can spread in the affected area. hope this helps! also- dont use sanitary wipes on your face, try tea tree oil.
