Overview

Pemphigus of the skin and mucous membranes is a chronic blistering disease most commonly found in middle-aged persons.

There are three major types of pemphigus:


Vulgaris (literally meaning common)
Foliaceus (featuring superficial blisters)
Paraneoplastic (associated with some cancers)
