Moles

I have a mole from my birth on the right cheek of my face.It extends from my right eye to the end of my right cheek. I have no hair on it and till date have had no problems regarding it.But now I want to get it removed.The doctors have tried removing it by scraping it but found out that the pigment cells are deep within as so it grew back.I would be more than greatful if you can suggest me a way of removing my birthmark without any side effects.
